When Howard Unger started as a “trunk jobber”, distributing jewelry out of his basement, he had no idea that what he was really starting was a multi-generational fashion jewelry business that would become an industry leader.
His entrepreneurial spirit quickly turned his side business into a family affair for over six decades. Howard went on to be one of the founding members of the Minneapolis Mart in 1975 putting Minneapolis on the map as a wholesale merchandising hub.
Fast forward 64 years, Howard’s is still bringing the latest and greatest in fashion each season. Growing to over 30 employees and a 20,000 square foot facility in Chanhassen MN, Howard’s has expanded their business and their focus.
